Education - update September 2024

The number of children studying in New Zealand has soared in the past year and continues to do so. There are many reasons contributing to this for example :

School safety problems in the USA. Even as we go to print there has been yet another school shooting in the state of Georgia, killing 4 and leaving at least 9 more hospitalised. This crime was committed by a student of the school.

China – US relations are at and continue to be at a delicate stage.

The United Kingdom is in an economic recession, social security and school closures are frequent.

The European continent is also uneasy because of the Russian – Ukrainian war.

New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere seems to have become a paradise away from conflict. New Zealand’s advantages in policing, environment and education are beginning to attract global attention. A cost effective high school education is also a stepping stone to the top universities in the world. The prospects in New Zealand are among the top globally.
